Five Tips For Natural Hemorrhoid Relief
Tip #1: Cut down on processed
foods
It's known that processed foods can cause harder stool
and problems with digestion. This can cause constipation and
related issues that can lead to hemorrhoids. So if
you are serious about relieving hemorroids then it is strongly
recommended to lower your intake of processed sugars and
foods.
Tip #2: Drink plenty of water
If your body isn't adequatley hydrated then this can also
cause harder stool that can aggravate or lead to hemorrhoids.
So make sure that you drink at least eight glasses of water per
day.
Tip #3: Avoid caffeine
Caffeine is common in many drinks such as popular soft
drink, tea and coffee. These will actually cause your body
to lose water - caffeine is a diuretic (a drug that
increases urination). I'm not suggesting that you have to give
up your cherished cup of coffee in the morning, but you may
want to cut down during the day or switch to decaf. If you find
that you can't do this, then at least compensate by drinking an
extra glass of water for every coffee or other caffeinated
drink that you have.
Tip #4: Adopt a more active lifestyle
A lot of long term sitting can put extra pressure on
the bottom area that creates a good environment for a
hemorrhoid to develop if combined with direct force such
as constipation or pregnancy. Therefore, make sure that
you don't sit for over 1 hour at a time. Perhaps you could walk
to the kitchen and drink a glass of water, or do some
stretches that promote healthy blood flow.
Tip #5: Avoid processed medication and
creams
These create a similar potential problem as processed
foods. Some of the fiber supplements contain processed and
artificial ingredients that can cause problems.
